We hope you enjoyed perusing our personal photos and interesting details about a place that we have fallen in love with.  Why here, you might ask.....let me explain. 

 

While Scott and I met in the mid west, we both grew up on the water.  I came from the East coast and grew up spending summers of the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland and before he went into the Navy, Scott grew up in Mobile Alabama where the beaches of the Gulf are like sugar.  Once we made it to the West coast and experienced the energy, moodiness and constantly changing weather that creates it's own unique drama of the Pacific Northwest, we knew we found our home away from home.

 

I am an artist by trade and Scott works in technology.  Together we have a passion for traveling but always find ourselves returning to the place where salt water waves kiss the mountain range, where the redwoods grow into giants, and perspectives change with every turn of a trail.  Scott and I have combed beaches, kayaked rivers, discovered caves, hiked the fern forests, fished the ocean, cruised the coastal cliffs and sometimes we just get lost.  And every time, we still find adventure and inspiration with each turn.
